Databricks Consultant

Senior Databricks expertise, without adding full-time headcount.

Direct access to a senior Databricks architect and engineer who can lead the technical direction, work hands-on alongside your team, or own a focused project or POC from scope through production.

  • Architecture through production delivery
  • Hands-on technical leadership
  • Projects and POCs

How I Can Help

Senior ownership across the Databricks delivery lifecycle.

The work can begin with strategy and architecture, move directly into hands-on engineering, or focus on a clearly defined delivery problem.

01

Architecture and Technical Direction

Set the target architecture, engineering standards, platform patterns, and technical roadmap. Provide senior direction while helping the internal team make sound implementation decisions.

02

Platform Modernization and Migration

Modernize existing data environments and migrate workloads from platforms such as Azure Synapse and ADF to Databricks without losing sight of production continuity.

03

Hands-on Data Engineering

Build and modernize production pipelines, data models, transformation workloads, and analytics layers using Python, PySpark, SQL, Delta, and the broader Databricks platform.

04

Governance and Production Readiness

Implement Unity Catalog, data quality, CI/CD, observability, deployment patterns, and operating standards so the solution is secure, reliable, and maintainable.

Engagement Models

The level of involvement your project actually needs.

Model 01

Technical Lead

Own the architecture and technical direction, establish patterns, guide delivery and unblock the engineering team.

Model 02

Hands-on Architect and Engineer

Work directly in the platform, designing the solution and building the pipelines, models, governance and deployment components.

Model 03

Defined Project or POC

Take responsibility for a focused scope and deliver it directly, or work alongside the client's team to prove an approach before a larger commitment.

About Brandon

Databricks consultant, architect, and engineer.

I'm a Databricks consultant, solutions architect, and data architect. I work with organizations in whatever capacity a project needs — as the senior technical lead, as a hands-on architect and engineer, or by taking a defined scope and delivering it directly.

I bring both a technical and business perspective, with experience spanning data engineering, data science, finance, analytics, marketing, and strategy. The goal is to deliver data capabilities that solve a real business problem and remain usable, governed, scalable, and maintainable after the engagement ends.

Contact

Have a Databricks project that needs senior technical ownership?

Book 30 minutes to discuss the platform, the problem, and the constraints. I’ll tell you directly whether I’m the right fit and what the next step should be.

What we'll discuss

  • Current Databricks footprint (workspaces, cloud, scale)
  • The outcome you need and by when
  • Who owns the platform today

Schedule

Book a 30-minute project discussion

  • A 30-minute working conversation, not a sales call
  • You describe the platform, the problem, and the constraints
  • I tell you directly whether I am the right fit
  • If it makes sense, we outline scope, timing, and engagement model
Discuss a Project

Scheduling opens in a new tab. A few short questions help me prepare.
